Green Guru LLC Irrigation & Landscape Lighting

Disclaimers, Warranty & Responsibility Notices

Clear expectations protect clients and protect the work.

Plain language: These notices summarize common conditions for irrigation, SRMS™, and low-voltage lighting work. If your invoice/estimate states different terms in writing, the written terms govern.

Quick Answer: What controls legal terms?

Written job terms control first. This page sets baseline notices; specific written invoice or estimate language governs your approved scope.

1) General Service Disclaimer

Green Guru LLC provides irrigation, outdoor lighting, and related property services. We apply reasonable care and professional judgment based on observed conditions at the time of service. Field conditions can change rapidly (weather, water quality, soil conditions, unknown underground obstructions, and existing system wear).

2) SRMS™ Performance & Water Savings

SRMS™ features are designed to improve scheduling discipline and reduce waste. Exact savings vary by property, weather patterns, system condition, nozzle selection, pressure, and client operating constraints. Statements such as “never waters in the rain” refer to configured rain-skip thresholds and weather intelligence behavior; results can be impacted by local forecast data availability, sensor inputs, and client overrides.

3) Weather Services, Sensors, and Network Dependencies

Some features rely on third-party services (weather feeds, cellular networks, device firmware). We do not control third-party outages or vendor changes. We configure systems according to best practices, but no technology can guarantee perfect decisions in every microclimate scenario.

4) Existing Conditions & Hidden Failures

Many failures are caused by pre-existing conditions (aged pipe, fittings, valves, wiring, prior repairs). Some issues only become visible once a system is pressurized or run under load. We document findings when practical and recommend repairs when risks are identified.

5) Outdoor Lighting Responsibility Notice

Low-voltage lighting performance depends on transformer capacity, wiring gauge/length, load balancing, connections, and exposure to moisture/corrosion. We can repair, upgrade, and modernize systems, but we cannot warrant client-supplied components beyond manufacturer coverage and documented work scope.

6) Workmanship Warranty

Workmanship warranty periods and plan-backed coverage rules are posted at warranty.html. Unless otherwise stated in writing on your invoice/estimate, the baseline workmanship warranty is 30 days from the service date for defects directly attributable to installation workmanship. This does not cover damage from freeze events, flooding, vandalism, lawn equipment, lightning/power surges, or third-party modifications.

7) Manufacturer Warranty (Parts & Fixtures)

Parts and fixtures may carry manufacturer warranties. Where applicable, we will assist with reasonable documentation to support a claim. Final warranty decisions are made by the manufacturer.

8) Safety & Site Access

Clients are responsible for providing safe access to work areas and identifying known hazards (pets, locked gates, underground utilities, private wells/pumps, shoreline conditions, etc.). If conditions are unsafe, we may pause work until risks are addressed.

9) External Links

Some pages may link to manufacturer resources or third-party reference material for convenience. Green Guru LLC does not control third-party sites, availability, or content. Always verify compatibility with your equipment and your site conditions.

Legal FAQs

Do these legal notices replace written invoice terms?

No. If an invoice or estimate includes different written terms, those written terms govern the specific job.

Are SRMS savings guarantees?

No. SRMS is designed to improve control and reduce waste, but actual savings vary by conditions, configuration, and client usage.

Are third-party outages covered by Green Guru LLC?

No. Third-party platform, weather-feed, cellular, and vendor outages are outside direct company control.

Where are standard warranty terms documented?

Standard workmanship and coverage terms are documented on the warranty page and may be supplemented by written invoice terms.

Can hidden site conditions change scope?

Yes. Hidden failures or changed field conditions can require scope adjustments once systems are pressurized and tested.
